Title: Picture Ornaments
Post by: EIEIO on December 21, 2013, 05:38:59 pm

These are mods of Steve Good's "Five Simple Christmas Ornaments" pattern. They are expanded in size a little (about 6" long), and a 27mm picture frame has been added. The youngest girl's name - Charlotte - was too many letters to fit on a normally sized ornament, so the pictures do the trick and save a lot of elbow grease.

BTW - They are hanging from the cornice of an 1890s mechanical music box that was passed down from my mother's father. We have 36 zinc disks for it; each disk is 20" in diameter.

What a fantastic idea. Furture heirlooms hanging from an heirloom, marvelous.

Nicely done Ray. I like the use of the picture frames. The music box sounds very interesting too. Have a great Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
Rob Roy.
