Title: Newbie from the UK.....

Hello everyone, I'm Kyle from Northern Ireland.

Totally new to this but decided to take it up as a hobby. Having difficulty deciding on a saw to buy though so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Scrollsaw Workshop looks like a great place to get started and I can feel an addiction coming on already!

Hello Kyle, because I don't know what you have available over there, I can't help with the saw question.

Hi Kylie,

I'm also new to the hoby and learning my way around. I took the lunge and went for a dremel moto saw as I know the brand and it looked like a good introductory tool. I like it so far as it's done everything I need.

I've never used anything else. I think this will be limited as I go on but by then I will hopefully have more of an idea of what I'm looking for and be able to take a more informed choice.
