I was on vacation in California last week. We drove through a town on Monterey Bay with a big sign at the entry - "Capitola - a drinking village with a fishing problem."

Rob, you got that the wrong way round, if Scotland gets it's independance then it should read "Abandon hope untill you enter here" ;D ;D ;D

that's why I prefer a good blend above a single malt ;)
or double wood, must be Irish and Scotish oak's right..... :D

All right now I'm ScotchIrish depending on what's available Even Canadian now and then. I'm not proud and no drunk ever fell up off the floor and hurt himself!
I'm still a tightwad when it comes to my JW Red, just a wee dram now and again as the good folk across the pond so nicely put it. No mixing it just a little ice goes just great and SIP no gulping!
I may have stated it before I hate getting drunk! But I enjoy the taste as long as it's not mixed with the contents of my stomach. YYEECCHH!
