Title: plunge attachment for craftsman dremel

Hi everyone, I haven't been on here in a while, been too busy fishing this summer. My question is there a plunge attachment for the craftsman dremel, I haven't been able to find one. I would appreciate any info and advice. I am getting ready to start on some Christmas presents and need one to drill holes with.

Thanks for the reply I saw that but did not know if it work with the craftsman dremel. Next question is will the keyless chuck hold the  small bits for drilling holes. I use 69 and 71 mostly

The collets are interchangeable.  If the one installed on your dremel doesn't fit your bit - change it.  Get the plunge router attachment.  If it does not fit you craftsman - every hardware store puts dremels on sale for black Friday at a very reduced price.  It is worth having more than one.

you have to consider the weight of the thing with the 69-71 drill bits.

They can break just under the weight of the drill itself.

I use a jewelers drill so i can control them better.  i also trim down the bits so they just barely stick out the end of the drill long enough to make it all the way through the wood.  longer and they would snap off.
