WOW! I have used a tractor for a lot of things, but wouldn't of though to turn a bowl. Think of how much JW and ice it could hold!! Issue straws and belly up to the bowl. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8).

Rob would keep the only straw to himself if it was filled with JW lol - either that or he would take up swimming lol

Why just the one bowl Keefie??. That tractor's a 4x4. Jack it up and away you go. 4 at a time, if you can find enough timber. Fill them up with JW and I'll test them for leaks. Have to come up for breath a few times though. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I can't tell for sure but that looks like a 'glue up' and I would love to see the CLAMPS they used!

That thing is going to require two gallons of salad bowl finish and a mop to put it on with!

I'm just picturing in my mind how far it would throw the turner if he had a catch and I'll just bet the engine is only idiling and the gears are in low.
I've seen some videos of really large bowls being turned from a large burl from the stump of a tree, and that was impressive.
This takes it a couple steps farther!
My next question is what are they going to use it for other than a Record breaking sized bowl.
I know RR wants to test drive it but he couldn't afford to fill it with JW or even bath water.
Oh that's right he's Scottish they don't take baths. LOL
Couldn't help myhself Roy. Snicker.

Oh my i have to remember to show that to Terry tonight.  I would love to see it finished, wouldn't you?
I think Rob's wife would soon have something to say if she found him swimming in that full of JW, and it would not be nice. Or she would hold his head under.  :D :D :D  But then again i think i can see it Gabby, Keefie and Rob Roy in there swimming around in it.

Boy did I told that story to a lot of people/customers  when I was working as an service engineer.
told it so sadly with almost a tear in my eye, until the moment they said sorry, then I told them of the toilet visits.
boy did I had fun ;)  :D ;D ;D
