I went to a craft show, or yard sale they call it. But at my Grandma's church they had a sale and people could bring items to sell. This is my table and I sold over half of it. I ended the day with $160 plus an extra $20 because I cut my Grandma's grass while I was in the area. All in all it was a great day.

What sold the most? Bowls, appliances, portraits, ...?
-
I sold two bowls, cherry and butternut. A lot of portraits. Other signs that I made. Like the candle segmentation sold that was a tribute video. The USA eagle sold. A puzzle sold. I sold the portraits for $20 a piece that were in frames. and $15 a piece that weren't. I ran out of cards to hand out. I didn't think I would need to bring more that 20, guess I was wrong :)

Good deal, we have a night crafts fair runs two nights, I check with them and they rent booth spaces, not mine you its just a 10x10 square plot on the grass for 150 for the two nights plus 20 app fee! I though no wonder these crafters charge alot for there work got to make up for the booth fee, what do they do if the don't break even. Its good you got a space for free and got to hand out cards so the best advertisement is word of mouth, bet you start getting some work in now.

Yeah, I got lucky selling as much as I did today. The table actually cost $5 to have, but it is nothing really. In the past years I didn't sell that well. That is crazy how much that costs you to rent a booth space.

Yea I can see why there not the vendors that use to be there like it use to, there is another big craft fair in may, and heard its about the same price for a booth, sometimes our county will have craft fair at the fair grounds, maybe one of these days I will be able to get to hold one and sell some stuff.

Great job at the craft show.
you charged your poor grandma $20 to cut her grass?
-
Good job, Dustin. You've got me thinking to go without the table cloth on my show table.

Thanks, no I never charge her. She insists I take it, never lets anyone work for free.

Good going !!! However it's really no big surprise what you sold, good work always sells. Kept the sawdust flying and the money rolling in.

Great looking display of your projects, no wonder they sold so well.
Keefie.

Good show, good looking items. What was the puzzle? Flat piece, Tray, standing? My name shows my interest.

good to hear things went so well!
nice display and who knows more work will come from the cards right?

Excellent Dustin! A lot of people I know and have made things for tell me I need to get into craft shows and stuff. It just seems like a whole lot of work to chance selling enough to make any money.
