My latest work from Toymaking Plans.
Took a couple weeks cause the wife ended up in hospital.
But she's ok now her heart stopped 8 times in as many hours, damn that was scary.
Any way let me no what you all think of the ship.

Sorry Merlin I can't seem to get the Pirate Ship up for some reason. I can imagine that it was very scary but thankfully she is well now. Regards to both of you.

Glad to hear you wife is doing better. The pirate ship is AWESOME!!! Is it sturdy enough to be played with?
-
Best of luck with the wife. The ship looks very nice indeed. Looks like it takes quite a bit of wood to build.

Thanks for the nice comments guys/gals, I did have fun building it and not suer about the amount if wood but was a lot.
I wood build it a little differently if I did do another one.
Julie the ship is very strong but the sails wood be the weakest point, but they are removable.

It took a lot of tries but I finally got to see the photos. Great boat, but that middle cannon at the starboard side is going to make a mess of the deck, it's pointing the wrong way. ;)
Sorry to read about your wife but glad to hear she's OK now.

That ship is awesome! I had to go look again at the cannon. :)

Great pirate ship Merlin, really a piece of art!
sorry to hear from the wife, sounds really scary.
is she out of the danger zone now?
-
Martin that cannon is a double ended one ;) no really when I drillled a couple of them the drill bit was no centred right, so instead of wasting a piece of dowel I drilled the other end, and I forgot to plug them (bugger).
