Title: Need help also
Post by: Intarsia92 on July 29, 2013, 12:06:46 pm
This is a picture of John Odom; he was close to the finish line at the Boston Marathon, waiting for his daughter to cross the finish line, when the bomb went off.  He would have lost both legs if it hadn?t for the quick action of a stranger and the EMT?s

He was the last survivor to leave a Boston hospital, but he hasn?t been able to go home to LA since and still has more time to spend in rehab before he can.

He was due to retire the week after the Marathon and will as soon as he?s able to travel home. I am making a plaque to celebrate his retirement and need help in making a fret type pattern to include in the plaque.

Thanks, Al

A huge thanks to both you guys for doing a great job making the patterns. I'll show both to the person requesting the plaque and let him make the choice.

Thanks again, Al

Just a quick observation and comment - first thanks to the pattern makers - it is quite nice to see the variations provided by the different pattern makers.

What I see is a nice variation from the same photograph - providing the requester and others with options for simplicity (or read difficulty).

Thanks folks, it is a pleasure to seek a product and be provided with varying options.  Please continue your endeavors.  I believe we ALL appreciate your talents and work.
