Here is a video I threw together of how to make simple tool handles from a scrap piece of 2x4. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nD1hhFoRYI&feature=c4-overview&list=UULAxz24dFceU8bIyUf_SQDw (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nD1hhFoRYI&feature=c4-overview&list=UULAxz24dFceU8bIyUf_SQDw)

I just watched the video. Nice idea. You are really a problem solver what with this and your push stick.
you're an optical illusion maker too. I thought you'd gotten a different saw for a minute there because it looked like the table was flat and the head of the saw tilted. Took me a minute to realize it was the camera angle! Duhhh LOL
