The following group is posting a bunch of copyrighted designs and links to copyrighted designs. There are also members passing patterns back and forth freely. https://www.facebook.com/groups/233035340090370/
One of them linked to a file sharing site that was full of Steve's patterns. Although free through Steve...it's still disrespectful as hell. Some patterns are scanned in (in the photo section of the group) and others are linked to on the main page.

Charles, I don't have a Facebook account, but I believe you can report them to the administrators. They should investigate and shut them down if they are violating copyrights.
-
I don't do facebook but agree with Dan should be able to let someone know to shut it down.
-
Well I can't understand a single word on that page! I would report them or do something right away. People are so ignorant and especially these kind... >:(
-
I reported it!
-
Me too....for all the good it may do.

Also found a blog. He has entire books on there with links to file sharing sites to get them...Mine is on there too. It's no wonder I'm lucky if I get 3 sales every two months.

I don't belong to facebook either but, if you can get their name and any identifying info, they should also be reported to the scrollsaw forums to be banned from any of these groups also.
Sorry they got some of your patterns, Charlie and thanks for letting us know about it.
God Bless! Spirithorse

I have reported the site as well. Hopefully Facebook will do something.

The curse of the digital age.
How do you show your designs when anyone can save it and use a free program to turn it into a pattern.
I worked in the music biz for many years and watched digital files bring it to its knees as well.
People forget all you have after recording a song is the hope that people will pay to listen to it.
Sorry you were hit. Your stuff Rocks!
