Title: does anyone know why I can't upload

does anyone know why I can't add a photo to my profile. all I see next to my screen name is an box with an red x inside the box

When I try to upload and then click on change porfile all I get is a white screen.

 I have almost the same problem, it tells me that the file is too large, still trying to figure out how to make it smaller, have the same problem in SSV.  edward

Here is a link www.pixresizer.com/, download the free software,excellent in resizing. I have been using this from the past year and half- no problems at all and was recomended to me by a senior member.

Only part of the page loaded for me.  There was a message saying "failed to load content".  When I allowed Google Adsense and reloaded the page, the whole page was visible.  It seems they found a way to require allowing Adsense to run and loading the content.

If you allow Adsense, you should be able to see the page.

Another alternative is to use Microsoft Picture Manager to resize you images - it's part of MS Office.
