Pattern from Steve Good. I changed the base to 1/2 of a rough peeled kiln dried cedar log that was 4 inches in diameter. Bear Cubs cut from 1/2 inch BB stained to colonial oak. Finished with shellac.

Great idea DW! Nice job overall!
It's kind of funny, as I was viewing it this morning, there was a news report on the local L.A. TV station on a bear sighting in a local neighborhood. The bears come down from the hills overnight looking for food. They usually find it in trash cans and dog food left out for dogs. This bear had a tag on its ear, so it was a "repeat offender".
