Title: You never know what you'll get...
Post by: Dan26 on May 12, 2013, 09:59:26 am: One of the things I like is turning pens. I picked up a piece of coffee wood from Woodcraft because it had some nice grain. After cutting a piece for the pen and turning and finishing it, this is what was hidden inside. Maybe I need a new eyeglass prescription or to change my drinking habits, but I see aliens in there.

Post by: IBMer on May 16, 2013, 06:30:34 pm: Not sure I see Aliens, but it looks good. I tried Olive Wood from Bethlehem and it looked very similar to this. Found a bit of it at Woodcraft. It does smoke quite a bit when you drill into it ;-)

i to like to turn pens i have over 64 pens and can not sell i have gave 24 away to freinds and family and still have that many
i find it hard to sell any of my work people say they like it and say iam so talented o well sorry for the rant but is a nice pen
