Title: broken pivot bolt
Post by: gramps on April 26, 2013, 07:19:08 pm
well, i was installing a flex tube for the dust blower on my saw and figured i would do the oiling right away. i've only used it maybe 5 hours, the manual says to oil every 20 hours. i took out the top bolt, cleaned up real good and noticed a crack in the threads, gave a little tug and #$%$$!!!  well i'm glad it broke after i got it out anyway. it's a delta model 40-540. guy at the hardware store ordered the part for me, but said it could be a week or a couple months. anybody know a better place to order from? thanks in advance.

Try any fastener store or hardware store.

We have a place named Fastenal in our area, and Ace Hardware carries a good selection of bolts.

The owners.manual may tell you what size it is, or just take it with you as they can match it.
