Title: Zebra Wood Bowl
Post by: countryscroller on April 12, 2013, 03:07:53 pm
Here is a little bowl I made out of Zebra wood I got from Ocooch. I have never cut Zebra before, but man it stinks. Thanks for looking.

Great work and the wood is beautiful. Being that the wood stinks that much, you sure its not skunk wood???

That's a beauty Dustin. Do you have a spindle sander to sand the inside?

I've been happy with the Ridgid band/spindle saw. I keep a coarse belt on it and have a 220 belt on my P-C bandsaw.

BTW - If you have a Menards near you, last week ours had the Ridgid spindle set (80 and 150 grid sleeves) for $2.99. It was labeled as an unannounced sale. I got the last one on the wall but hope more are coming in.

Very nice. Zebra is one of my favorite woods to work with. Good looking bowl.
