Title: It is OPEN!!!!!! Menard's, St. Peters, MO

Went to the first day opening of our brand new 192,000 sq. ft. MENARD"S store yesterday morning at 6:30 when it opened!
It was a riot listening to the comments of people who had never been in one of their stores.
Most often heard comment..."This place is friggin' HUGE!"

Great stock of thin hardwoods...Poplar, Oak, Walnut, Philipine Mahogany, Cherry Aspen & Maple!

Hours: Mon. - Sat. 6:30 to 10:00, Sun. 8:00 - 8:00

ALL employees friendly and helpful....

I'm in heaven!

Oh I am so moving to the USA .  If only we had wood like  that in our big stores.

I never been don't know what it is, but looks like closest store to me is in Witchita, KS.

Menards in my neck of the woods (south east WI) does not carry thin hardwoods....good for you.

My lowes had 1/4 inch oak. I thought about trying to cut a project out of it. I have another box to make for my stepdaughter but need ash and think walnut.

I love my Menard's in St. Joe, mo.--They always have what I need and they have a section of pine that they call utility boards 1x6x4 ft for 99 cents. I use them for my frames and can get 3- 8x10 frames from each board--store is always clean-- jmho   --Richard

They opened one in Osage Beach and made one trip to see what they had.  Did pick up some shelving they had on sale after having to wait while they unloaded it or something.  They didn't have the Dremel attachment I wanted.  I also found out that a lot of their sale prices involve a rebate that is only good in their store.

Check the hand tools at Menards. Ours has a large selection of U. S. made tools. I always check there before the fallback Lowes.

I have been to one once!!  I was in heaven and did not want to leave.  We were on our way home from the Ohio Show last year with our Grandson Scotty.  I wish there was one closer here.

I love Menards!!!!! It is my favorite store.

My husband and I have date night occasionally and just wander around.
