Hey Keefie, My daughter just went through that nonsense tonight, trying to arrange an EasyJet flight from Edinburgh to Gatwick, which is cheaper than the same trip from Glasgow which is shorter DHOOO.

Rob, I found it's cheaper paying the full  all inclusive price than it is to get a cheap flight and have the sneaky extra bits added on...

We've worshipped cheap flights for years now and we are paying the price for that obsession ....

.... lousy customer service ....

.... sardine-can seating ....

.... bizarre inflight "snacks" for meals (or not) ....

.... lost luggage (forever) .....

.... bottom line is that you get what you pay for .....

Seems we've traded in quality for expediency in many ways. Compared to our old land line, my cell phone sucks. Fast banking, but 0.025% interest on your savings. Self-serve gasoline but at $3.60/gallon (sorry to the Euro members - for us, that's a lot of money). Drive through food that tastes like cardboard. College education that might get you a job at the drive-through.

Make something really good this week and put your name on it. Let your kids know you made it for them. Put it on the Brag Forum so we can all see it.
