Title: Killed another saw
Post by: Judy Hunter on April 03, 2013, 09:26:30 pm
Would you believe my new saw died.  New last November.  Took it in and they said it had a factory flaw in the wrapping in the motor, so it just died.  They took a brand new one off the shelf put my arm lift and light on it and sent me home no questions asked. Thanks Acme Electric.

Sorry about the dead saw, but looks like the sun is shining on you again. Sounds like great customer service.

Great service you received.  What is the brand of that saw?  Is it called "Acme Electric"?  New one to me.

What type of saw gave you issues?

This was a DeWalt 788.  Normally a wonderful saw. This was just a fluke.  Acme electric is the DeWalt dealer

That's great news!  And they even reinstalled your lift and light.  "Acme" as a name sounds like a funky sort of place but they obviously do good work there!

Acme, oh right, I ordered some Rocket Skates from them a while back ;-)   Sorry, I grew up watching the Roadrunner Cartoons.   Acme always had the best gadgets for immediate delivery.

I just bought a DW 788, knock on wood, so far, it's good.
