Just in time for April, Lee Valley has the mother of all clamps.

A little expensive but definitely unique.

I hope the guy with the Dremel doesn't get his mustache caught! It seems a little 'overkill' to spend $1000 to clamp the little figure for power carving. (You could get a nice Excalibur set up for that much money - that Snazzy Anniversary Edition that I am DROOLING over in beautiful black with gold trim!)
Nice system, but My goodness! The price is insane! :)
Thanks for showing us!

Sheila, at least the guy is wearing safety glasses, of a sort.

PS,
Check the calendar.

Aren't I the dork? LOL
The term "gullible" comes to mind . . . ;)
The funny part is - I wouldn't put it past Lee Valley to sell something like that. I guess the best pranks are those that are kind of believable!
You certainly got me! :D

This clamp is part of an on-going series of April 1 tools produced by Lee Valley. To see the others, type AFD into the search bar. Some have been quite inventive but this year's is the best, in my humble opinion.

Yup, as soon as I saw it I said "April Fools"!

I ,wouldn't order one on a lark ,because one is very much likely to show up ,just seems like too much detail and enginerring ,the brazing glasses may be a joke ,but I would bet that thing is real and somebody in industry uses them .For us ,way over kill ,not so with industry .IMHO

I almost fell for it! I was about to tell my wife that no matter how many times I have said the opposite, you really can have 1 too many clamps.
