Bella was the most easy going dog I've ever owned. She loved everybody (except squirrels ;)) Unfortunately, at 13 years old, age finally caught up to her. She's already missed! :'(

Sorry for your loss.

I know that hurts, soooo sorry. My black lab looks a lot like the one in the picture.

Yea it hurts to loose a beloved pet, my parents had two dogs, well mutts, but good dogs had to have put down from old age. It was hard to see them go, dad had them cremated and has them in there own box. I will more than likely do this with mine when I get to that point.

so sad Glenn. It's something all of us animal lovers go through, but it doesn't make it easier.
-
Its sad to see them go. Just think of the good times you had together and know you will see her at the rainbow bridge.

So sorry for your loss! Losing our pets is one of the most difficult things! Try to take comfort knowing that you gave Bella a wonderful happy life, and she knew she was loved. (((HUGS)))

They are more than just our pets, they are close loyal friends, it's never easy to lose one. Sorry for the loss of your friend.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Thank you everyone!
I stayed right with her until she was gone. It was hard, but it helps to know she isn't hurting anymore.
I keep catching myself looking for her! :(
