Title: So Far...So Good!
Post by: GrayBeard on March 25, 2013, 06:35:16 pm
Second Cataract surgery today went just fine. Dr. said everything looks great.
Patch over the eye until tomorrow and then the continuous use of the drops for 5 weeks.

Thanks Again for all the good wishes & prayers!

using only one eye sure screws up your depth perception and I feel like a total Klutz.....

So glad that you have that behind you. Things are "looking up " as they say. Now give it some time and you will be as good as new.

Snow accumulations:

St. Peters, where I live  = 14.6"

Lambert St. Louis Airtport = 1`2.9"

St. Louis = 12.9"

Wet Heavy snow.
By the time we left this morning at 6:00 to go to the surgery center all our subdivision streets had been plowed and were at least passable. The rest of the major roads in St. Peters were all cleared!

Sure do like the way this city takes care of its senior citizens. When we got home from the surgery ctr. at 9:45 the city had been back and all the driveway entrances where Sr.'s live weere cleared of the snowplow leavings and we had paths cleared to our mailboxes!

So thrilled it all went well, you will feel like a new man now.   ;)  :-*

Gee your city/council are great, ours wouldn't give you a cardboard shovel to dig yourselves out if we got snow.  :-\

GB, great to hear your eye surgery was a success, no more touching walls and furniture to get around. I have had 20/20 vision for the last 8 years since I had my eyes done. Follow the doc's orders and you will not have a problem. May God keep you well.

Great to hear all went well with your surgery! I was so glad to mine done with. have you noticed how colors are so much brighter. don't get to anxious to get back to the saw yet, I only waited a couple days. regretted it with fine dust in the air(even with safety glasses). do your drops faithfully and you will be right as rain in no time
