Title: Girl & Horse
Post by: Tim2beupinAz on March 13, 2013, 03:54:17 pm
Here is a girl and horse I did. It was my first time using a wood dye. I didnt have any Yellow for the horse so I tried my hand at a wood dye. It didnt come out as nice or dark as I wanted but Im still pretty happy with it. It was a fun piece to do. This was a gift for a coworker. Thanks for looking and enjoy.

That is beautiful, I hope one day to have the skill and patience (and better sanding equipment) to attempt some intarsia. Thanks for showing it.

Jay this is the keda wood dye. I bought some from there web page to try. I like it but am not sure how much I will use. It comes in a 5 color pack.

I think it is very nice work. Good job on cutting it. As far as the dye goes, I think it was nicely done. I was admiring the dye and finish before I read your comment. Thanks for sharing.
