Title: Pattern help please

A friend of mines daughter drew this picture,she drew it freehand from a picture in a colouring book. She is 13 and just about to turn 14 so I wanted to cut it for her birthday, hopefully it wont take much to turn it into a picture, any help will be greatly recieved.

that's brilliant thank you Ron. Katie has a lot of talent, but she is a really good kid too, helps her mum all the time. My daughter calls her  "her adopted daughter" and she brings her on holiday when they all come to Cornwall. My daughter is bringing her down at the end of this month as a birthday treat so I hope to have this ready for her.
