Well this is not so nice, I won't be able to do any cutting for awhile at least a few days, I cut my finger pretty bad at work with hedge clippers, got 10 stitches in it. Lucky didn't cut it off, think the gloves I had on helped a tad, they X-rayed it said might have cut or broke the bone, so am off work for couple days. Not something I had planned to do, and no it didn't have to do with my monster grinder/cutter I ditched that long ago. :)

Ouch! Sorry to hear that, DR and hope it heals soon. 10 stitches...must have been a heck of a cut,
Must be a bad week for us scrollers. I was working in my garage last week, fell and slammed my left forearm against the edge of the bench, breaking it in two places. I'm left handed so I'm really out of commission for awhile. Poor 'ol scroll saw just whimpers when I go by.

Got a little idea how that feels as this summer I crushed and tore off 2 finger tips and shattered the bone in what was left of one of those fingers. I have not been in the works shop since then but itching to get back at it. No this did not happen in the work shop.

Ouch, Ouch and Ouch again, hope you all recover soon

Hope it heals soon. I cut my finger pretty good around Christmas time, no stitches needed, but I practiced one handed scrolling. :)

Yea I hope heals soon too, most what I want or need to do is two handed. Its this point you understand how important it is to have two hands to use.

Just goes to prove, accident can happen in an instant. I am sure all of you who are injured and well versed in safety but you still had an accident. I hope all of you make a speedy recovery. As my father many times said,"flesh, or bone a machine will do it's work anyhow".

Yes you are right even being safe can still get hurt why they are called accidents.

10 stitches is a one big OUCH. Hope you guys heal quickly with no lasting side effects.

Lawyers don't believe in accidents! >:( In their eyes someone caused your injury. ::) In most cases it is the manufacturer of what ever caused your pain. SUE!!! SUE!! SUE! :o
That is why we are in the sea of laws now that puts businesses out of business. :'(

Yup you are correct, lawyers love accidents, even petty stupid ones, the judges should throw them out, but they don't just tie up the justice system.
