This basket is made from a cedar fence board I got at Home Depot. I like the "rustic" look of it. It would look great in a cabin somewhere.
Thanks for Lookin'

Beautiful bowl Tommy, I love the cedar!
A bit of a warning though, cedar fencing boards are not kiln dried, which means it has a high moisture content. As it dries, it may crack or distort.

Nice Bowl Tommy, well done. I gotta get me one of those spindle sanders.
Dan, thanks for the heads up on the cedar. I was looking at those fence boards in the store the other day, hadn't thought about moisture.

Very Nice...as Dan said watchout for the drying process.
I have made several 'plant stands' for outdoor use from the 'treated' fence boards for family and friends. Simple, easy and weather nicely. (and CHEAP!)
