With weather like that there is only one answer - make hot coffee and spend day in workshop.

Funny, doesn't look like you're finished to me!  ;)  :D ;D ;D ;D

Don't envy you that!  Most of ours melted off last week, but now we're dealing with single digit highs.  Oh well.  It keeps the riffraff out!

We wouldn't mind some of that stuff over here in Wi. supposed to get 4" last night, got 1/2".  We need any kind of moisture we can get!!  Very dry last summer.

I just moved back to Michigan after living for 6 years in Tenn.  I will gladly take a couple months of Cold and snow vs  3 months of 100 temp, floods and tornado's at the drop of a hat.

Back in '88 my job in the Detroit area came to an end.  Another company offered a job, with my choice of Minneapolis or Seattle.  Didn't take long to make that decision. Sold the snowblower and left.  I've never regretted moving to Seattle.  Yep, we get rain, but I don't have to shovel it!

well all that snow looks great to me!
as long as you can go out for groceries and things wont break down due to the frost I like the snow/winter very much.

I migrated to the other side of the world to get away from snow but I must admit I do miss it sometimes.

King, it's a whole different world on the east side of the mountain.  Different crops, different weather.  I like the trees, mountains, and Puget Sound.  Had a 32' boat and loved going on cruises, anchoring out, and oh, yeah...crabbing.  But I have to admit that the best salmon fishing I've ever had was in the Great Lakes, Lake Michigan.  I missed that.

Oh my the Salmon that comes out of Lake Michigan is soooooooooooooooo good.  I live on the Little Manistique Lake and we get some great walleye, muskie, perch, bluegill, trout (that's another story) bullhead, northen pike etc.  Fish must be really biting, the ice fisherman are out everyday all day long.  Brrrrrrrrrr!!!!    I love the 4 seasons it is so peaceful and beautiful up here and our weather is pretty stable, unlike Tenn.  which had tornado's at the drop of a hat.  Not to mention the floods..........................

Chelcass, I have a home on Lake Cadillac over in Cadillac.  I live in Southern California (grew up in the Detroit area, summers on Lake Charlevoix).  I LOVE Northern Michigan!!!
