made two eagles out of 3/8"BB plywood finished it with glossy lacker.

the bible verse (dutch name) is Isaiah 40:31

but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;

They look beautiful, I love eagles.  Where did you get your hanging brackets from? I haven't seen anything like it over here in UK.

just "invented" this for this project.
I used an air gun staple (http://img.b2bage.com/photo/product15/497567/big-air-nail-gun-stapler.jpg)
just cut of a little and drilled two tiny holes.
hammered the stapler in the wood(not to deep!!!)
and then I bend the staple over a metal ruler so it will "floats" 1,5mm above the wood.
doesn't take much space at the back of the project.  
and costs almost nothing (dutch can be cheap as well ;))LOL
