Title: Portriat
Post by: cdrover(Clyde) on January 19, 2013, 10:56:17 am
here is the progress so far on the pattern that Don made for me some time ago. It was hard cutting, emotionally, but I am glad I did it. Now to finish the backing and frame. Thanks Don. aka Old Crow. It is cut from 1/4 BB that I ordered from Miesel this summer.

Cool! I've got to learn how to make patterns from pictures. What program did you use.

That "Old Crow" has helped many of us and I know he won't 'crow' for himself so it is nice to see him recognized for his help along with all the other 'pattern purveyors'!

Your portrait is looking very nice and I know what you mean about the cutting of a portrait to which you have an emotional attachment. It took me a year to finally start cutting that portrait of "Splinter"!

I am so sorry Manhendra, It is your pattern not Don's that I cut. I feel so bad that I made that mistake. I am cutting another one that Don did. But the portriat of my brother is the one you did for me. Thanks again for the pattern and please accept my appologies .Clyde

Clyde ,no problem, please dont even think about it , you did a excellent job on this tribute does not matter who made this. Don is a great guy ,after reading your mail I am feeling awful as it was not intentional just that at the back of my mind I remembered making a pattern like this and I mentioned it.
Thank you
Mahendra

Mahendra, I want to give credit where credit is due and I made a mistake. Don made an excellent pattern as well, either one would have been great, my sister in law liked this one. I want to again thank both of you for your fine work and your help on this project. Clyde
