Title: Making a pattern
Post by: justmike on January 15, 2013, 07:08:11 am
I have corel draw and want to take a photo and make an intarsia pattern. Has anyone used corel or any suggestions on another program? Thanks

I used Corel Draw a few years ago, when I was using a PC, but since then I changed to a Mac and now use a software program called "EASY DRAW".  It's the easiest drawing program I've found and It does everything you'd want for making Intarsia patterns. I don't know if they have a PC version or not, I didn't see anything, on line, that mentioned it.

Attached is pattern I made of a truck that belongs to a client. Please do not copy the pattern unless you have my permission.

Thanks, I have a PC but between corel draw and corel are there must be a way. It's probably a matter of trial and error but it's driving me nuts. I will look for easy draw because easy is starting to sound good. Thanks again

Would that be "Eazy Draw" instead?
