I had bought one at woodcraft a couple years ago, for under $40, I'am sure other places sell them.  Edward

I've bought two at Harbor Freight (two saws) for about $33 and they work great.  Good light, good magnifier and hold the position well.  They offer two, but get the more expensive one with the flip cover for the magnifier if you buy there.

Bought this one http://www.busybeetools.com/products/MANIFYING-LAMP-90-LED-TABLE-MOUNTING.html (http://www.busybeetools.com/products/MANIFYING-LAMP-90-LED-TABLE-MOUNTING.html) from Busy Bee when they had it on sale for 1/2 price.  The magnifier is good and the light is very even across the work area.

I have it on the saw bench (homemade) and the bench is solid enough for sawing but it does move a bit which makes the light sway slightly. I am getting used to it but will probably find a better mounting method.

The clamp seems to be a little weak to hold a heavy lamp like that at full horizontal extension so I might just drill a hole in a hardwood block and screw the block down to something solid.

Other than the mounting, it's a great lamp and would recommend it, especially if BB puts it on sale again.

I have the one from harbor freight the 34 dollar one, and love it. I like it since the base has a hole the lamp sits in and allows the lamp to swing or pivot with out raising it up and loosing how I have it set.

Ditto on the Harbor Freight magnifier. It works great and is plenty bright with the led light it has.
$34.00 here in Dallas. I know there is a Harbor freight in Houston as well.

Mickey357, I know this isn't what you have in mind but thought I'de put it out there just the same. I never liked having anything between my face and my work so I never used a magnifier. Maybe slightly clostrophobic. Finally I needed to do something so I got a pair of magnifier eye glasses. Theyre very light weight, seem to to the job, and don't make me feel closed in.
