Title: Yesterday's Cut (A little "Girly")
Post by: smitty0312 on January 06, 2013, 06:58:20 am
Made this for a co-worker, it is for a 13yr old girl, he said she liked flowers so this is what I came up with. 7/8" red oak, 3 coats of deft, give me your thoughts.

Wow that is really really nice!  The strong grain in the Red Oak really adds to this piece!

Awesome job!

Looking at the font it will lend itself to the use of Spiral blades very well!

That is very nice. She will love it. Flowers and a butterfly. Super! Looks very good. I would even be tempted to try doing that with something you could color. Either way, looks good.
