I met one of our members out in Mesa, AZ while making my pharmacy deliveries. He works in his garage and has invited me to check out his work anytime I am in the area. Well, today I stopped in to check out the final work he did on his clock tower. He also took time to show another clock he was working on. Along with showing his work he gave me some tips on scroll saw and lathe work. Thanks Danny for the time you spend with this newbie.

Now that is some nice work, and nice looking as well.

Yes, Danny tells me this one is for a family member, but if he makes a 2nd one it will be for no less than $1000. His work is pretty amazing to me. He is also so eager to teach me new things. It is nice having a friend local to meet with and talk about sawing with.

I am pretty patient but not THAT patient!
By the time I got the last piece finished I wouldn't be able to find half the other parts....

Wow, that's almost scary! My saving grace (ok, excuse) on somethng like that is that I would have nowhere to put it even if I could manage to make it, which I doubt.

Ya, that is how I felt about it when I saw it. When I first met him he was still cutting pieces. He had like 2 dozen stacks of cut pieces on a table. But now seeing it come together is real nice.
