Title: More ornaments
Post by: jrpeteo on December 01, 2012, 06:17:32 pm
I?m finely done making Christmas ornaments. Finished the final group of nine compound cuts this morning. These patterns are by Smitty (1), Steve Good (3) and Sue Mey (5).

Fantastic. I tried the compound one in the middle left. Mine broke while doing a bit of sanding. It was my first compound cut ever. I will have to try it again sometime. Your work looks super. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the kind words. These things are a challenge, but the result is rewarding.
Mrtcurtis, my first one was so thin, it broke as I was unwrapping it from it's cocoon. That's when I figured out to cut slightly to the outside of the lines.
