Title: Don't know what happened. Need Help.... Danny :+}

Not being really savvy on the PC all I can do is explain my problem.  It has to do with when I log into a site and was getting this lit window that asked if I wanted to save and always said YES.  Well had lots of saved passwords and ID's.  Yesterday tried to long into Yahoo the normal way I have used forever where I click on the ID with just typing the first letter (d) and I would be give a selection of my wife of myself.  Well nothing happens now.  Same with Facebook and other sites.  Could someone tell me what to do?  Help....  Danny  :+(

This is a bit difficult Danny. You are not normally asked to save when going into a programme. Do you mean it asks do you want to save this password?

If so, it should appear when you have typed a couple or more letters and then all you need do is press enter.

If you are using windows 7 as I am, it is better for each person to log on separately when entering the PC, rather than each programme, it makes it simpler.

You may have to go into your separate programme to reset passwords etc, especially if you have Han any confusion tying to enter with the wrong password.

I use Firefox for my browser and the same thing happened to me a while back. Somehow (probably and ID 10 T error) my auto log stuff got messed up. As I remember all I had to do was go back and turn it back on. Don;t know if this will help.

Under the tab for Tools, then Options, the  the Tab for Security.  That is where your passwords are stored with several options.  If that does not work, then I guess you will need a much younger person to get it fixed :)

You may try going back and reset your computer to an earlier date. Go to control panel and security and system restore.

Thanks Billy....Yea!  Now everything is back to normal.  Just wonder how that little box got un-checked where is says save passwords?  I happy.  Thanks to All..  Danny  :+}

Also make sure you have your "Cookies" turned ON!
