Title: humidity house?
Post by: Judy Hunter on September 28, 2012, 10:48:58 am
I am looking to a very fancy clock type thing to put in a humidifier checker (you know that  thing that checks the humidity ???). I have a round one of those things like a clock. It needs to stick out from the wall and be very open in order to read properly.

Hi Judy I think you are looking for what's called a HYGROMETER. You might be able to get one from a wood turning supplier, if they sell clock and barometer movements. Hope this helps you Judy.
Rob Roy.

Roy nailed it! It is a 'hygrometer'.

Most places that supply clock inserts and parts also sell 'weather instruments'.

Try a search...<weather instruments+hygrometer> and you will get more sources than your 'puter can handle. Then comes the fun of RESEARCH! and learning!

No I already have that hygometer thingie.  I just need a fret work design to put it into. I can adjust size as needed.
