Nothing went right today! I could not get light or magnifier in right place, blades seemed dull, broke piece off portrait, blades kept wandering off pattern, curves square, circles looked oblong, points were rounded, v cuts were round, pilot holes not completed, etc, etc, etc. BUT I WAS HAVING FUN!

Having fun is what counts. Its the journey...
And there are also days ahead where everything goes right.

I hear ya Tony. some days I make sawdust and others I make mistakes.

We all have those days Tony. yesterday in my haste to beat the heat I broke a mini drill bit in the portrait I was cutting. I just needed to enlarge the hole just a little, I was using a hand held pin chuck. I needed to enlarge the hole because I ran out of 2/0 blades and now using a #1. Now of course, I cant get the bit out cause It broke flush with wood. So I started something else and will get back to the portrait after I get over being pissed off, maybe tomorrow, maybe next year.

we all have day's like that. good to see you stay in the good mood.
if a day like that comes to me, after 3 or 4 issues the fun is going away, then I stop and I call it a day.
don't want to get angry or frustrated over scrolling, it has to be fun!
works for me.

Well yesterday was a very low mistake day Unfortunately it was also a very low sawdust day - as in none! It was miserable in the shop early and just got worse. I can usually get out there after supper for a bit but last night @ 7PM the temp in there was still 96. Doors open and fan running Today doesn't look much better :(

If you take a deep breath and count to 10 - that is a blessing - especially if you are using yer fingers to count ;)

Really? Are you serious? All this time I thought only those things happened to me. Kind of makes me feel a bit better knowing that every single thing you stated here actually happen to others. Well I hope your next day of work is a super good day. I enjoy seeing your projects when you post them.
