Lookin to improve the pattern I made using photoshop - Next post includes my attempt.
Looking for ways to make better definition, and likeness.

Ty, but I think the Nose loses definition too much, but I could be, pardon the pun, being picky

It looks pretty good, I just wanted to point out that line size and and thickness is very important when it comes to faces. The more lines and the thicker they are the older the subject looks. Kids have very few age lines.
I hope you don't mind but I grabbed the pic and thinned some lines out and removed a few lines simply to show the importance of line thickness. I also added a little highlight to the eyes. I didn't do anything to the hair, but I would suggest combining some of those little tiny cuts into fewer and bigger lines to make it easier to cut.
You did a great job with the likeness and with a little tweaking you'll have a really nice pattern.
