I have a small block of spectraply 2X2X6 inches.  I know this is used mostly for worrd turning but has anyone used it for other projects?  I have seen a knife handle done with it but still not sure if it was cut or turned. Any help appreciated.

I have used it in woodturning. The effect is quite stunning. It would probably make for some pretty interesting compound cut items. Its relatively easy to work since its really Just layers of birch. I would try a little compound cut vase or something similar.
