Title: i need your help please

 hello everybody i need some help i have a 2 1/2 inch hole that i need to cover with a pattern i need the pattern to be just is side the hole and the out side to be 2 5/8 it can be any kind of pattern you can thank of  it just needs to fit in a 2 /12 inch hole  i wood like to have 3 or 4 differnt ones the more the better i have looked over the web there just isnt meny saw patterns out there  any help with this wood be great i thank you very much
   i all so have a one inch hole that i wood like to do sumthing with

How about a round Christmas Ornament as in fretwork design. then resize any way you want to.

I would do like Judy suggested and re-size a ornamant pattern. If you look around online you will find tons of types not just christmas.
another search word might be sun catchers.
do you have any more specific requests for what you are looking for? where is this hole?

thank you for helping  he just wants me to come up with sum thing to go on his dulcimer that he has he wants sum thing neet  thats all he said  i have worked over a couple ornamants with the deer and birds steave has. i wood like to get a couple more fretwork designs for him  thank you for your help

You can get or make rosettes. These are round and designed just for things like dulcimers. Harpkit.com (http://Harpkit.com) has such designs for you. I have never made a harp nor a dulcimer nor a rosette...but I did get a catalog from them when I ordered plans for a door harp. the back of the catalog has the things you are describing. Hope this helps.
