Thanks Dan for asking about my eye surgery. Thought all should know it did not go as well as the first. First of all, the anesthesia wore off, so doc had to put shot in eye while in OR. That did not feel good LOL Have some swelling, so sight is not good yet. Doc said give it about three weeks! I did try to make a little dust yesterday, but, could not see real good even using magnifyer. Cut some simple Christmas ornaments and wife finished them for me. Could not do any fret cuts, but, had a good time anyway. Typing this using reading glasses and 150% computer zoom level!! Man, it is not fun gettibg old.LOL

Sorry to hear that Tony, but I know it will get better! Just hang in there!

Three weeks isn't so long. Just don't get dust in your eyes. Soon you will be sawing like a champ.
Something to LOOK forward to. ;D

Yeah! I am LOOKing forward to that surgery also!
As someone once said, "If I had known I was going to live this long, I would have taken much better care of myself!"

Tony unless you are wearing a diving mask you will get that ultra fine sawdust in your eyes, you should see my contact lenses when I'm finished. I would recommend you stay away from it till the healing is complete. It's not worth getting an infection, and losing an eye over it. Better safe than sorry!

I agree with Gabby, that fine dust is dangerous, don't take any chances with your sight, three weeks without sawing is better than a lifetime in the dark.
-
Please be careful Tony. SEEING is better than SAWING. Take care.

good to hear the surgery is done.
three weeks will be over soon, be careful with the dust, but most of all, enjoy what you do!

You can live without most things but living without your sight is a difficult one. Please take care, your saw will still be waiting for you when you are all better.

Tony hang in there. Take the advice given by Gabby and wait out the 3 weeks.
