Title: another finished cut

Pattern by Gayle--the wood is a walnut slab that I was going to throw away--I planned it down and found a great piece of wood--I have a new outlook on scrolling--fit the pattern to your wood, not your wood to the pattern-- the photo doesn't do the slab justice.  Richard aka thumbs   picture in gallery

Nice! I have said it before... I'm a sucker for walnut. Most all my pieces come from wood I have milled from fallen trees  or reclaimed lumber. To take a big ugly hunk of wood and work it down to something beautiful is a pretty amazing feeling!
