If that isn't it, I believe the designer you're looking for is Kevin Daly. I have no clue how to contact him though.

Kevin Daly is at

But I don't see The Ascension of the Lord there but there are other great patterns.

Thank you ALL for your input. Kevin Daly's patterns are Great.
Charlie.... Would you be so kind and design a pattern of this?
The pattern I remember had Jesus Deciples gathered under his
Ascension. Merry Christmas to ALL.... Danny :+}

If you supply a large and clear photo I will. My email is artistic_cowboy30@yahoo.com. I charge $20 to start.

Ok folks from what I have learned is "It's a Jeff Zaffino you want I think".
he got into a wee bit of trouble from what I heard, cause I got a "The Ascension of the Lord" from his web site that was offered as a free pattern.
I wrote on the pattern that it is suggested finished size 11x14 or bigger, 343 cuts, 2/0 blades cut in 1/8 inch baltic birch or oak. (copyright 2008).
Hope this is of help.

Thanks for your offer Charlie and your charge sounds reasonable, but I don't have a picture....
Merlin.... Not sure what you told us means you have a pattern. If you do we would just love for you to share. Yes? Please.... LOL .... Danny :+}

I seem to remember reading that Zaffino got in trouble for 'copyright' infringement.
I don't recall the outcome but it was discussed on another forum.

Danny when Jeff had his web site running he offered the pattern for free (that is how I got a copy).
I have a hard copy (paper) I'm trying to locate the pattern on an old pile of cd's, cause my printer/copier or open office is giving me grief at the present.
If and when I get things repaired/replaced will e-mail you a copy the hard copy I have has a copyright on it so best not to post here ;D ;D

Thank you Very Much Merlin.... Hope you don't have to go to much trouble with helping me with the pattern. But I Thank You in Advance.... Danny :+}

-
fantastic and you say it's only half done? you must post the finished pattern as I would love to see it. ( far too complicated for me to try yet, but give me time to improve !!)

I suggest that Charlie make that an EXCLUSIVE pattern available for PURCHASE only by members of this forum!
It is much too beautiful and striking for Charlie to give away.

-
Charlie?
What did you come up with for the 'finished size'?
~~~GB~~~
-
Just did the order for the pattern with Pay pal. thanks Charlie.
-
Me too!
Sure hope I have large enough boards!
Charlie is not exactly noted for 'small' projects.
Thanks for the order Judy and Ed ;) They have been sent.
When I do a pattern, I scan the finished pattern in at 300 dpi (dots per inch). It can be resized to any preferred size (large enough to do all of the detail). They don't all have to be done HUGE though. If you did it actual size according to the formula that 72 dpi = approx. one inch, then this piece would be 5.33 feet wide by 3.58 feet tall (if I did my math correctly). When I scan them that large, it isn't so you have to do huge projects. It is to not distort when enlarged.
I tried to get it sized and split into four pages so it would be about the size of four sheets of paper. Tried with Poste razor. can't make it work. Help :-[
I can never get posterazor to work right either. Always use http://online.rapidresizer.com/ ;)
Judy, I've found PosteRazor doesn't seem to like certain file formats. I don't know what format Charlie's pattern is in, but if you open it under a photo editor, and then "save as" a .bmp , you should have better luck. The program just seems to like bitmap files better. Hope this helps.
-
i give up. It does everything right but cuts off the bottom half of the decipels.
-
I have no clue what to tell you because it does fine for me. :( Can anyone help?
-
Judy, what size do you want it to be? I have an idea...
-
That Charles is the man!!! He made it right for me. Now I am a happy old oman and will quit whinning.
-
I like your feistiness Judy, Don't ever change!
-
That is a beautiful pattern and I am going to strive to become good enough to try something like that one day.
Brenda, As a famous member of this site says, It is just like any other pattern, you cut each hole one at a time, there is just more of them!
