I think Judy is in need of a Noah's ark pattern. :)
-
Sue Mey makes a great Noah's Ark Pattern
-
at the bottom of steve's blog, you will find a video of a great noah's ark pattern from australia. I've made both the medium and large ark and although a little involved - my grandchildren love them. julie
-
I did the Noah
s ark on the bottom of Steve's site. I did a large, medium and small...the only problem I had was the bow and stern It had to be fabricated. I could not follow the pattern.
-
So I don't type so good :-[ I promise to proof read after this
I am looking for a Noah's Ark Pattern that is like a picture that hangs on the wall.
-
Hi Judy,
Try www.scrollsawartist.com , there is at least one pattern of a Noah's Ark Plaque, maybe more. Did not look futher, but remembered I saw one there a while back. Look under patterns and the religious and than just look for it. Hope this helps you. Good Luck.

Found them...Thanks

I made a pattern of the ark myself,
look at the 3D tab on http://www.xs4all.nl/~aanons/scrollsaw/
it's made of 3mm birch plywood size 3" x 4"
if this is what you want I can post the pattern
-
OH WOW!
I would love that pattern!
Your site is fabulous!
-
Wow nice site you have got there. I too would love your pattern, but don't know if it's to much of a hassle to send it to Europe. I am willing to pay you the postage.

?. One pattern?. Sorry, I made from every segment in a separate pdf.
There is an empty ark, so you can make more segments for yourself.
The real ark is 50 el wide and 30 el high. This is about 72ft x 42ft. in Holland we use meters, so it is 22mtr x 13mtr.
I tried to keep the scale for the big animals about accurate.
In example, a elephant is 13 ft high (4mtr). I made the height of floors at my own idea thinking that Noah had to walk every ware.
I intended to make more segment so the length would be in scale to. Therefore there are barrels for the water in one segment. Autumn 2009 I start building a cellar (cellarium in Latin) so I didn?t finished my project?..
Maybe someone beats me at it 8)
I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did.
And remember my saying: a good scroller is a happy scroller!
Have fun with it!
Ps. My copyright ? is not that important, but I hope you send me some pictures when you finished it!

Sorry Marcellarius, Dawie I have no idea how to put up a pix, if you can tell me great otherwise i'll have to give you a pix in "words" yyyyyguy - no so wise!!
-
yyyyyguy, if you can email me the pics I can post them for you. Or you can open a free account with photobucket.com and post them from there.

Hi yyyyyguy,
here are 2 way's for uploading:
way one:
use the "additional options" at the left bottum when you reply.
attach: search button: pick a picture from your harddisk
NOTE: max 128 Kb per attachement and 4 per post.
you can use "Microsoft Office Picture manager" to resize the image less the 128 KB before you upload.
Way two:
There is an other way by using other programs to upload your pictures to the web like picasa http://picasa.google.com/
then just include the link. this needs some trying i think....
-
Here are the photos from yyyyguy.

That is soooo cute!
-
thanks dragonlord i have 3 of those around the house full of "beanies" it's a 1X6 with 3/8" plywood, holes are cut with a hole saw
-
Thanks for posting, that looks great. Did you design it yourself, would love to try something like that sometime.
David
-
yeah i made it out of necessity, had to do something with all those "beanies" - that project only got rid of a small portion, if you build one I know where you can get some ;)
-
ooops, just reread that earlier post it's 1/8" plywood NOT 3/8"
-
Great idea! I'm going to ask my daughterinlaw if she wants one for our Grandaughter's room.
-
very nice!!
This is great to work with kids, tell the story and they can take-out/put-in the animals one by one.
@dragonlord: thanks for posting!
-
Thank you Marcellarius for the plans of the ark. I really want to try one

Hi Marcellarius, please can you confirm the dimensions of the ark 3 inches by 4 inches seems very small and feet seems too large.
Malc
-
It's a very small project.
the 10ct coin is 19.75mm = 0,77" =
for example the leg of the stork is +/- 1/64" so be careful when you turn your piece!
-
Wow, I did not realize how small that project was. Great job Marcellarius. 8)
-
Can anyone tell me why the plans for Marcellarius's Ark have been deleated by addmin?
Malc :(
-
Wow!!! Did not realize this was so small. Amazing.
-
Hi Malc,
I can't, but if you send me your emailaddress I'll send them to you.
-
I have no idea who removed the plans. I know I didn't. I will ask Steve. ???
