I received an Email from ETSY the other day about potential massive delays if shipping to Canada due to a very possible mail carrier strike. I have looked this up on line and they have said that if there is a strike it will not be before 7/5/16. Just thought you might be interested. This affects everything going there, UPS, Parcel Post, DHL and even regular US Mail headed there.

I'm not sure that a postal strike in Canada will stop all deliveries. Since Canada Post , UPS, Fedex, etc. are in competition with each other, the courier services will be ready to take up the slack left if Canada Post stops delivery. http://globalnews.ca/news/2794470/canada-post-work-stoppage-what-you-need-to-know-if-service-stops/ (http://globalnews.ca/news/2794470/canada-post-work-stoppage-what-you-need-to-know-if-service-stops/) Scroll down to "Other delivery options".
It would be a good idea to use other delivery services, just in case.

Negotiations apparently on-going. http://globalnews.ca/news/2811759/canada-post-work-stoppage-union-requests-30-day-cooling-off-period/. Using companies like DHL UPS and FedEx are expensive options.
