Title: Missing a step...
Post by: Coffeepot on January 28, 2018, 09:25:43 am
Referring to the Ichthys pattern, I need some more information please.

Being blonde, I missed the step after you find your angle.  Where do you start cutting on the outside of the pattern?  There's nothing shown like a starter point on the pattern.  It appears to go from find your angle to push out the cut and glue.  Would really appreciate the part in between...thanks.

I would suppose that you can drill the starter hole just about any place that is convenient for you. It would be a wise thing to drill the hole at the same angle as you are going to set your blade. And make sure the hole isn't too much bigger than your blade.

Thanks, RR.  That's pretty much what I expected.  I just would have really appreciated some visual aids to confirm what I think I might be doing.  ???
