It?s been a while since I started this. It was intended for the 4th but a new job and health got in the way. This was done from 2 of Steve Goods patterns. I modified the saying from Never Forgotten I hope he doesn?t mind  :)

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Blade movement question
« on: July 23, 2014, 12:57:20 pm »
as mentioned in another post even is the movement of the blade holders are exactly straight up and down, If you don't put the blade in exactly inline with the movement you will still get some front to back action on the cutting edge. so while some say zero or approaching zero that is still just the saws mechanical movement. you still have to be careful how you put the blade in.

PLEASE don't get me going. Our public officials don't give two hoots about the American citizens or the millions of Americans that have given up their life for the freedoms they feel they can take away. Homeland security is as big of a joke as the war on drugs. It?s just another way to suck money out of our pockets to put in theirs. Sorry this sort of thing always strikes a nerve.

When working in the cold garage I place a small Quartz heater directly under the table of my DeWalt and direct the airflow toward me.
It keeps the table warm & also adds the benefit of putting heat right towards me.

~~~GB~~~
just remember your creating very fine dust that can and will fall on the heater. id keep a fire extinguisher handy.  :)
