did everyone see that? a ten year project, i have trouble with anything over 3 hrs. it's on steves' new posting today - one of the most fantastic scrollings i've ever seen!!
I love the smell of saw dust in the morning.

That piece belongs either in the Smithsonian or the Metropolitan Museum in NY!

That is an amazing piece.  I wonder if he has a plan for it or if he will just keep it around the house.  It really should be on display somplace.

I've been honored to see it in person.  Charlie is a member of the St Petersburg Woodcrafters guild, as am I, and he brought it in to show and also entered it in the Florida State Fair last year and took home a prize.  It's even more impressive in person than in the articles, and so is Charlie!

It was at the Tampa Woodworker Show. It also won First Place. It sure is a peace of art.
