Introducing myself

Hi i’m Lou from Pa. I’ve picked up my DW 788 from warranty service after just purchasing it last November and back in the saddle again. I’m retired and having a lot of fun scrollsawing.

Lou, welcome to Steve's blog.  There are a lot of very knowledgeable and helpful folks here.  I purchased my DW 788 a few months before you.  I am so pleased to hear that you have your saw back from the warranty service center and appear to be pleased.  I had my saw in the Dewalt Service Center in Houston, Texas twice and am convinced that there is NOT ONE TECHNICIAN in that facility that has been trained to service their DW 788 saws.  Obviously, I am disappointed with my experience and pleased to hear that you had a satisfactory experience with Dewalt.  Regards GLC
