Hello from the smoky Okanagan (Kelowna, B.C.). Could one of my fellow Canadian scrollers suggest a Canadian supplier for blades please? Thank you.

I am from Brooklin Ontario. Just east of Toronto
Bearwoods in in your neck of the woods. Langley BC.
They sell peagus and Niqua (flying dutchman) blades.

I buy my Flying Dutchman blades from Mikes. Last time I purchased a gross it worked out to abut $1 less per dozen as you don;t pay HST and the P&H is only $4 versus $12.95. I tested Bearwoods and they are very prompt and great to deal with but if only ordering blades I am cheap. When you order from Mikes you have to pay in USD plus there is no tracking but I have never had an issue and it normally comes in a week.

Garnet Hall; an intarsia enthusiast, author and pattern maker lives in Estevan, Sask. He sells Sawbird Brand of blade, I believe these blades are similar to Flying Dutchman/ Niqua . Price is very attractive, shipping has never been over $4.canada Post. His website can be accessed by Sawbird or Garnet Hall. A very interesting fellow and easily responds to a telephone call
