Title: Squaredance sign
Post by: Kristian on July 29, 2014, 11:25:03 am
Hello Fellow scroller

I am a square dance caller here in Sweden and I was planning to surprise my
beginners with a gift when they have become graduated.
I do not know how I should cut out the picture I've attached here.

Is there anyone who can give a hint  ;)

Hi, Kristian,
If you are cutting this from material about 3/8" to 3/4" (about 9.5mm to 19 mm I think) , you would just cut out the 3 areas in the center that would fall out and leave the entertwined squares.

If you want to cut it from thin material as a portrait, you would have to make
'bridges' between the areas that would fall out and the adjoining wood on the outside
of the pattern.

Good luck and God Bless! Spirithorse
